Designs will be created to newest revision.
Designs shall contain all necessary views (isometric, top, front, right-side, etc.), and in a complete 3-D model.
Fixture shall be designed to be built in body position or increments of 90 degrees.
All designs must list all parts such as assemblies and subassemblies.
All designs must be created using the metric system unless otherwise specified.
All designs must contain three tooling balls per Fixture base with the start coordinates clearly labeled on the base or specified by customer standards.
Datum locators and surfaces must be labeled on all designs with their designated GD&T callouts.
All 4-way and 2-way locators must be designed as MMC unless otherwise specified and approved by Fixture/Gage Engineer.
Pins and blocks are required to have their designated sizes labeled on the design.
These features shall require calculations on how these sizes were obtained.
Designs with removable or interchangeable details must show designated storage locations.
All designs must be approved and signed off on by designated L&W Fixture/Gage Engineer.
